The heartbeat of our worship ministry is to inspire people to encounter God. John 4:24 says that God is "seeking" or looking for true, authentic worshipers and this is the reason we desire to be a worshiping church. We want people to live a lifestyle of worship unto God on a daily basis, and we want to put Jesus at the center of our corporate gatherings. Our vision is to set the atmosphere for people to encounter God in the corporate gatherings.

  • Ben Lindsey - Lead vocals

    "Worship is how we come into God's presence. In scripture, God told the people of Israel that when they came to worship, they should go out through a different door from the one they entered through (Ezekiel 46:9). Why? This wasn't about a ritual, God was saying that when we experience His presence through worship, He changed us and we can leave differently than when we came. That is my hope for our team: to create an engaging experience for people who come through the door to encounter Gods presence through worship and to be changed for the better . It is an honor and a great joy for me to co-lead such an incredible group of singers and instrumentalists in these efforts"

    Ben lives in Cushing with his wife, Emily and two children, Stella and Luke.

    "I am a teacher at Cushing Middle School. It has been a privilege to work for Hope Church since it opened. I have been involved in worship since I was a teen, and I love being a part of Hope Church"   

  • Dane Mcbride - Drums/Music Director

    "While growing up, I always got to go with my family and watch as they sang and played southern gospel music for churches around the great state of Oklahoma. I had an opportunity of my own when I was 8, getting to join the praise team at my home church. Fast forward seven years and I was offered another amazing opportunity to join the worship team at Hope.Church, where I quickly began to feel at home. When I see people in the crowd able to freely worship or even hearing about someone's choice to be baptized. I feel a sense of joy knowing that we may have been a steping stone in their journey of becoming a new believer".

  • Leann Waymire - Lighting Designer

    "Ive been attending hope church since 2016 and immediately knew I wanted to serve. Hope Church has shaped me into the person I am today. I am grateful for the people I am surrounded by. If I'm not running lights I am most likely helping the little ones in Life Kids. Not only do I enjoy it but they have showed me the pure love and grace from the Lord.  Matthew 18: 4 "I wish we all could love like little children"."

    "I am a proud wife of Josh, mom to 3 amazing kids, and have an at home cookie business! Helping lead people to the throne of God is something I don't take lightly and is such a beautiful privilege. It's a blessing to be at Hope! "

    "I started leading worship in middle school at my home church. I immediately knew that it was something I wanted to pursue! God put a passion for music in my heart and leading has taught me a lot about what true worship means."

    "In 1st Peter 4:10 -11, it says to use your talents to serve one another and bring glory to God. Growing up a musician, I've found immense joy using my passion to lead people. "

  • Brennen Grimes - Keys-synth

    "I was asked to serve with worship when my home church found out that I play piano when I was 14. Since then, being involved with worship has led me to grow in my Christian faith while also pursue it for life"
